REIKI TRAINING IN AUSTRALIA

The Australian Reiki Connection is dedicated to improving the quality of Reiki training in Australia.
In collaboration with its members, the Association has established the ARC Criteria for the teaching of the Usui System of Reiki,
which aims to raise the standards of Reiki training for all three levels.

Levels of Reiki Training

There are three levels of Reiki training.

Level 1 Shoden - for personal use,

Level 2 Okuden/Practitioner - providing Reiki treatments to the public for a fee,

Level 3 Shinpiden/Reiki Master Teacher - enabling you to teach Reiki and attune students.

Some Reiki teachers divide teacher training into two parts, Level 3A Master Practitioner and Level 3B Master Teacher.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT REIKI TEACHER FOR YOU

When choosing a Reiki teacher, having a face-to-face or phone conversation with them is recommended.

Making an appointment to receive a Reiki treatment from them can also help you in your choice.

A good way to find a qualified Reiki Teacher is by referral from friends.

Contacting a reputable Reiki association. These Associations will have a directory of referred Reiki teachers who meet the required criteria for qualified Reiki Teachers.

All Reiki teachers listed in the Australian Reiki Connection's Teacher directory have a lineage that can be traced back to Mikao Usui, the founder of the Usui System of Reiki, are appropriately insured and have completed HLTAIDO11 First Aid training.

In addition, they follow the National Code of Conduct for unregistered Healthcare Workers and the codes of ethics and professional conduct of the Association.
